Announcing the HDSHT 2011 Elite Division! Now that I am part of the HDSHT.com premiere panel of directors, I made this video to spread the word that they are looking for more people!

What Is the Elite Division?

We've created the HDSHT 2011 Elite Division to showcase the best in online gaming talent. There are some amazing gamers creating kick-ass videos of their gameplay, commentaries, montages and more. Our goal is to become the definitive source for FPS/Shooter content online and one part of that is creating the Elite Division to showcase the best of the best.

Members of the HDSHT Elite Division will have their videos and channels featured on HDSHT.com. Each member will also earn rewards and perks for being part of the team.

How the Contest Works:

Entrants have the months of February and March to create and upload their gameplays, commentaries, montages, and more. To be eligible for an Elite spot you must create an account on HDSHT, complete your profile, and upload a minimum of 2 videos to your HDSHT channel.

The deadline for eligible uploads is April 11, 2011. You must email us links to the 2 videos you want to be judged for the contest to elite@hdsht.com no later than April 11, 2011. On April 15, 2011 we will announce the 10 finalists and post them here.

Our community judges will begin their selection process on April 18, 2011 and the final 3 winners will be announced April 22nd! These 3 winners will earn a spot on the 2011 HDSHT Elite Division. Please note the full rules and eligibility requirements.

How Will My Videos Be Judged?

30% for uniqueness, originality and creativity
Being creative and original will always help you stand out from the crowd. These qualities will also make a big impact with our judges.

30% for production quality and attention to detail
Production quality and detail is key. Don't rush through creating your videos. We're looking for those who love what they create and take the time to produce something that's strives to define new standards.

30% for gameplay, skill level and/or in-game production skill.
Let's face it, you've gotta be good at what you do in your videos. If it's gameplay, then your gameplay should be top notch. If you're making a commentary then we'll look for excellent commentating skills. If you're creating something funny or more story based, then push the boundaries!

10% for promotional effectiveness and impact
Now that you've put your time and effort into creating amazing videos for the contest ... you've got to promote them! Tell your friends to watch your videos, comment and like them. Post links to your videos on Twitter, Facebook and other social networks. Our judges will pay attention to how well you promoted your videos during the course of the contest.
